Oberlin Filter Company is a family owned and operated manufacturing company located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. We pride ourselves on bringing that feeling of family into the workplace. We try to provide as much flexibility as a manufacturing company can that must meet the demands of a strong customer base. In the 50 years that the company has been in business, we have had a handful of layoffs. We do everything we can to keep employees' jobs secure. Safety is very important to us and we work each day to keep it that way. The last four years have been the most profitable years for the company. Some of the profits were put back into the business for research and development, better equipment, tools and savings for the future. In the last two years, each full-time hourly employee was awarded a $5,000 bonus. And In 19 out of the last 20 years we have paid employees a profit-sharing bonus. We are very proud of being awarded the Top 100 Workplaces in Wisconsin for five consecutive years by the Milwaukee Journal based on employee input. Our employees were awarded the "Volunteers of the Year 2011" from United Way of Waukesha County. About our product: Our filtration systems range in price from $35,000 to $2.5 million. Our company is guided by the principle: make filters that really work. We have an excellent group of experienced engineers, salespeople, designers, welders, plumbers, electricians, servicemen, and laboratory technicians. We work with our customers to determine the best system for their application, build it ourselves, help start it and provide support throughout its lifetime.
With one main product, we maintain stability by diversifying our markets. These filters separate liquids from solids for a wide range of applications in the food industry, coolant, chemical processing, metal finishing, waste treatment as well as other industries.
