We are a family working ranch. We have a event venue used for mostly weddings. Extensive landscaping requires continuous watering, weed removal, weed control, mowing, trimming, etc. Then we have the normal work on the ranch. The work never stops around here. We have a water leak in the cattle barn this morning to dig up! Welding know how is a must, fence repair even when you think it's all done. Sitting on a tractor, spraying weeds or running a batwing mower. If you don't have tractor knowledge we can show you. We have a D6 Dozer, so it would be great if diesel mechanics at any level would be a plus. We won't ask anyone to do what we won't. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, most call it beautiful. It is until you look up and see everything that needs to be done. We are looking for a person that can be shown something once maybe twice and they will get it done. We all work mostly alone. We are a senior couple, him 73 and me 65. More often than not, I have found I can outwork the people that have been here the past few years. We need one person that actually takes pride knowing they do a job right the first time. DETAIL PERSON, NOT OCD, BUT CLOSE. We have 250 acres deeded here in Granbury, we lease additional pasture. We have had to cull down to about 40 cows. Two easy going bulls. We work them usually twice a year. Cattle knowledge would be great, but we can teach. We never use profanity and show respect to the person that works here. The job is 6 days per week, we work 7. Anyone on a ranch knows how that is.
