The Downtown District (Houston Downtown Management District) is a municipal management district and government entity supported by an assessment on downtown property. The Downtown District participates in the operations, planning, physical development, marketing, and economic development of downtown. Central Houston, Inc. is the administrative contractor for the Downtown District and provides all employees to the Downtown District.
