Texas Star has been proudly serving South Texas for over 80 years!

Edgar Linkenhoger founded Texas Star in 1933, originally starting as a fuel and lubricant wholesaler. Over the next few decades, Texas Star built several service stations around the Corpus Christi area and began to market Texaco gasoline.

Under the direction of the current owners of the company, Garnett and Tabor Brooks, Texas Star began to expand. Not only building more locations across the South Texas area, but also offering more services to our customers including the modern day convenience store and self-serve gasoline stations. Throughout the decades, Texas Star has always been focused on the customer and offer the most modern amenities for our customers to enjoy. Our commitment to the overall satisfaction of our customers, that has been the staple of Texas Star for over 80 years, continues to this day and is as strong as ever. Every year, new goods and services are added in our stores to help our customers get exactly what they need as fast as they can get it.

Texas Star is headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas and employs over 300 employees throughout central and south Texas. Texas Star currently operates many convenience stores and Subway restaurant locations in the state of Texas.
