Gooru is a free, common core-based personalized learning solution that enables teachers to create, curate, and share collections of web resources on any K-12 topic. With millions of open multimedia resources and quiz questions, Gooru makes it easy to discover topic-relevant and standards-aligned learning content to address specific students’ needs. Gooru works with schools, districts, and other teacher serving organizations to amplify the benefits of personalized learning in the classroom. By integrating with Gooru, districts and schools can facilitate the collaboration and sharing of best practices amongst their teachers, who will benefit not only from the Gooru community of 500,000 educators but also the collective knowledge of their colleagues. Gooru is developed by a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and supported by grants from the Gates Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, Susan Crown Exchange and Office of Naval Research, among others.
