POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for assisting the store manager in the daily operation of an Envision Base Service Store located on military bases.  Assist in the supervision of staff, and scheduling appropriate coverage of staff during store hours.  Ensure that staff provides exceptional customer support and effective and efficient retail operations and sound business practices.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE  Assist Store Manager with maintaining employees work schedules to ensure the store is properly staffed during all scheduled store hours. POSITION SUMMARY  Provide multi-disciplinary continuing education opportunities for the general public, community groups and organizations. Identify, plan, develop and execute community education outreach activities to strategic health care professionals as well as the general public. Develop and execute a volunteer recruitment plan in order to build a pipeline of volunteers for development and program activities. Develop and maintain professional relationships with vision professionals, community groups and vision resources in the community and state. Prepare all orders for accurate picking and on-time shipping while maintaining accurate inventory counts. Generate and print sales order pick tickets, freight bills and process all orders. Accurately enter shipping information to generate shipping labels, packing slips, and invoice batches. Create and/or alter freight bill of lading forms to process all outgoing shipments. Determine and sort all small parcel, less than truck load (LTL) and full truck load orders for proper picking. Ensure that all appropriate paperwork accompanies orders and is accurate. POSITION SUMMARY (Briefly describe the purpose of the position ) The Project Manager will address the Workforce Innovation Center objectives by planning and evaluating project activities according to the Envision mission. The Project Manager will help plan and implement the WIC job training, placement and accessibility activities at Envision and with partner organizations. The Project Manager will facilitate the success of WIC tasks and projects by monitoring tasks on multiple fronts including accessibility analysis, upward job mobility within Envision, job development at partner organizations and remote work from home for BVI workers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: (In order of importance ) Working closely with the ED to find and consummate corporate clients for BVI jobs. Coordinating with the ED and Technical Manager to insure accessibility in-house and to provide the resources externally to make jobs accessible for speech, Braille and large print users. Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: Three years experience in project management preferably in the blindness field. Proven working experience as a project administrator. Solid understanding of accessibility issues with products and services for BVI. Hands-on experience using and troubleshooting access technology including hardware, software, apps and websites. Experience with multimedia in order to promote WIC capabilities and potential employees. Preferred experience with grants and other funding mechanisms. Experience presenting to small groups and at conferences. POSITION SUMMARY (Briefly describe the purpose of the position ) The Technology Manager will support programs within the Workforce Innovation Center with technical, program and advocacy responsibilities. The Technology Manager will be responsible for helping achieve the job creation and successful placement of blind and visually impaired people. The primary focus for the Technology Manager will be in the technical analysis and implementation of accessible work environments within Envision and within external partner organizations. The Technology Manager will play a vital role in building a technical program that is cross-functional and process oriented to achieve the blind and visually impaired employment and training goals.
