Hardee's Restaurants

Hardee's Restaurants founder, Wilbur Hardee opened his first restaurant in Greenville, North Carolina on September 9, 1960. The first menu included fresh ground beef burgers for 15 cents.  This successful business model attracted interested partners, Jim Gardner and Leonard Rawls.  In 1962 the company started franchising.  In 1997, Hardee's was acquired by CKE Restaurants, Inc, parent company to Carl's Jr. Restaurants.  Today, Hardee's has over 2,000 locations in the US and more than 200 international locations.

Hardee's has built its reputation on a unique breakfast and lunch menu featuring mouth watering Made from Scratch Biscuits and  100% Black Angus Beef Thickburgers. Today, Hardee's has established itself as one of the leaders in the QSR industry.
