Lonza Inc is a leading producer of Specialty Ingredients.  The production plant in Mapleton specializes in chemical intermediate products for hygiene, water treatment and materials protection.

The Mapleton plant manufactures more than 60 long chain alkyl chlorides, amines and derivatives, including quaternary ammonium compounds and amine oxides. The products find application as biocides, water treatment algaecides, corrosion inhibitors, fabric conditioners, hair care products and wood preservatives.
