Position: Director of Field Service Reports to: Vice President Sales and Division Manager Location: Farmers Branch, TX (North Dallas Area) Job Description Southern Acquisitions, Southern Dock Products division, is lookingfor a Director of Field Service for our Corporate office located in Farmers Branch, TX (a North Dallas suburb). Southern Acquisitions is one of the largest providers of loading dock equipment in the United States with 12 locations and 230+ employees. Visit our website, www.southerndockproducts.com. The successful Director of Field Service will have oversight of the entire local service operation. Accountable for the backlog, inventory, fleet and personnel. The Director of Field Service will be responsible for labor pricing and logistics and will be directly accountable for the department's financial performance. As the frontline supervisor the Director of Field Service will lead the service department to grow while following the companies policies and procedures. Responsibilities • Inventory management in shop and vehicles for readiness to dispatch • Scheduling installations and service appointments • Scheduling and Backlog oversight • Project management • Budget planning • Resource planning • Fleet planning and maintenance • Personnel supervision • Labor pricing accountability • Accountable for oversight of transactions billable and payable • Gate keeper of job readiness • Staging jobs and directing warehouse organization Job requirements • Mechanical aptitude • 3-5 years Management experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products • Financial statement review experience • Structured thinker • Good customer service skills • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers Education • Degree preferred • Experience of dock or door industry a plus Salary - Potential total compensation of $100,000 Email resumes to Linda Brown, lbrown@southerndock.com
