Quality focused General Contractor has an opening for a full time carpenter for high end residential and light commercial construction, new and remodeling. 

Qualifications for this position:

• 5 plus years of experience in Rough and Finish Carpentry.
• Practical, hands-on knowledge of remodeling techniques, tools, equipment and materials.
• Attention to quality, detail, good judgment, and customer service. Ensure that all work is performed in a professional manner.

•  Ability to read blueprints and forecast materials needed to complete your work.

• Self-motivated and capable of working unsupervised.
• Able to complete and submit an accurate timesheet in a timely manner.
• Local resident of Davidson County for local work/ year round.

Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

Physical Requirements

• Job requires ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction project.
• Job requires ability to work with tools, lumber and materials.
• Ability to lift and manipulate objects greater than 50lbs as needed.

Tools and Other

• Basic hand tools, power tools including; table saw, electric mitre saw, power plane, etc.
• Reliable pick-up truck (one with hitch a plus).
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proof of auto insurance

This is payroll position not subcontractors. Compensation depends on experience.
