Field Service Engineer- Monroe, NC

My Client designs, manufactures and markets automation, presses, tools and complete production lines for the sheet metal and tube forming industry. They are experts in forming technology and automated processes, and deliver complete production systems.

 

Some Specialties include:

 

Automation including destackers, stackers, press transfers, press loaders/unloaders, gantries. Presses from 112 to 2800 ton, including servo-driven presses and Hydroform presses. Production lines for Hot Stamping, Deep Draw, and Heat Exchanger.

 

Looking to hire:

 

A field service engineer with a degree in Engineering Technology & hands on experience in electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical applications.

 

This person MUST be familiar with programming and have troubleshooting experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s and DOS/Windows based systems.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Will be responsible for trouble shooting press and automation problems at client sites.

 

Will be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment as requested by our customers.

 

Will also be responsible for overseeing installations of new equipment at the customer's facility.

 

Will be responsible all aspects of making field design changes needed in order for the equipment to fulfill any requirements outlined in the runoff test in order for the customer to accept the equipment.

 

Will also be responsible keeping the appropriate Project Leader informed of the status of the installation until it is complete.

 

Travel 80% of the time, which can include both domestic and international travel.

Qualifications:

Minimum of an A.A.S. degree in Engineering Technology with hands on experience in electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical applications.
Familiar programming and trouble shooting experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC's and DOS/Windows based systems.
