Built in 1941, The Cadet has served its country by being home to the Cadets of the United States Air Force, under the command of actor and Captain Clark Gable from 1941 to 1949, year in which the hotel returned to its original owners.

Honoring Captain Gable, our Master Suite was named after him and has been appointed in the fashion of gentlemen’s club suite; over the years it has become a favorite and one of the most requested accommodation we have to offer.
