We are a Kitchen and Bath company. Company needs a charismatic, energetic, problem solver, and an entrepreneurial type person that will compliment the growing company. Refinishing bathroom and kitchen fixtures including bathtubs, showers, countertops, sinks, vanities, tile and more. . . You will be encouraged to do quality work in a timely manner and help the company grow. Daily notes and attention to details of every aspect of this job. Must have your own truck, maintain personal auto and insurance, and maintain a clean good DMV. Driving is part of this job. You must have your own computer, printer, and email for this position. You must be able to work a rotating weekend as part of our team. You must be organized and able to supervise yourself reporting to assistant manager and operations manager. You will be trained in all job tasks, no specific experience required, prefer person to have experience in bath and kitchen work.
Job tasks for refinishing work: (must be in good physical condition and be able to work on your own without supervision)
Driving/directions/maps
Sanding/wet-sanding the surface
Going up and down stairs and operating a dolly loaded with tools/materials
Tape and mask and protect areas around project
Always wear the respirator and gloves around the chemicals we use
Clean surface of dirt, dust, soaps, silicones, etc. . .
Leave caution signs/info sheet at every job Repair cracks, holes, and damaged areas. . .have a sharp eye. . .
Do safety checks at each job
Always follow procedures/steps/ and formulas
Keep equipment clean and maint.
Spray specialty coating on surfaces
Answer questions relating to our work
Color tint/match/blend for jobs that are spot repair area only
Write daily detail of job notes/mileage/times in-out
Schedule 30 min. lunch break and two 10 min. breaks for yourself, and keep yourself hydrated and fueled for work days
Interact with maintenance, management, and residents in apartments
Resolve job specific challenges on your own and consult with Company supervisor
Identify/suggest/sell other projects at same location Visit/solicit prospective customers where-ever you are and promote Company
Lock up property when you leave
Clean up after yourself each job
Keep equipment cleaned/organized
Manage your operating inventory for materials used Maintain and restock operating inventory to your truck from Company Inventory location
Cross-training to other aspects of our operation may be an opportunity for the right person. We do cabinets, countertops, and other bath and kitchen work.
Starting wage during training period is $12-14 per hour. After initial training period of 2-4 weeks you will be expected to work independently and unsupervised going from job to job.
Company pays mileage. Company provides phone, uniform shirts, and other benefits.
Job performance review after 90 days.
You need your own reliable truck, your need your own car insurance, and Company strongly recommends a health insurance plan of your own. You need to be screened/approved by Company commercial auto insurance including a DMV check and background check.
