 We are a small speciality dental office located in the city of Encino.

We are looking for a hard working, punctual person looking to learn about the dental field.

The position is for a full time position and the pay is from $35,000 to $45,000 a year depending on how fast the individual learns all the aspets of what is needed to run the office.

Benefits will also be provided after 1 year of employment

We are looking for a person in search of a stable long term employment in a very chill environment.

Job Description:

You will gain exposure to many facets of the health care business with a focus on operations of a dental front office. While we require no prior dental/health care experience, we are looking for an individual who is a fast learner and can learn and work without supervision.  Using your strong organizational skills, your primary role will be to assist our patients with administrative processes such as scheduling appointments, retrieving insurance benefits, collecting payments etc.  Your work will touch on every aspect of the dental front office and will include ongoing work-streams of which you are the "owner" as well as a wide variety of special projects. 

 

Responsibilities:

         promptly and courteously answering phones and directing calls as appropriate

         greeting patients who come into the office

         Scheduling and checking patients in

         calculating and collecting payments

         eligibility and benefits verification

         treatment coordination for both HMO and PPO plans

         answering multiple lines

         managing Insurance disputes

         tracking claims

         obtaining specialty authorizations

         Recall and follow-ups.
