Hourly Rate Range:  $14.71-$20.33 DOE Position Summary : Operates machines that perform one or more package filling functions by performing the following duties.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times. Sets up and operates Foamer to clean the Filler machines and area, following specific work instructions. Perform primary package inspections and complete paperwork. Perform Monitor Checks as detailed in the Line Monitoring and Testing work instruction. Operates the bailing machine and removes bails of cardboard. Operates the floor scrubber and cleans the floors. Sweep the line to be conducted upon completion of production run and before start-up of a new flavor, ensuring all containers of the previous flavor have been removed. Notify Supervisor when material/package quality issues are observed. Notify Supervisor/Maintenance of any equipment issues. Complete and turn in the package check and Can Filler Daily Cleaning sheets. Maintain a clean work area. General Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management. All other duties as assigned. Regular and punctual attendance. Follow Pre-Start Up process – Check the Work Order to ensure correct bottles and caps are staged. Operates the Crown Can Filler machine in “Manual” and “Automatic” operations for Line 1. Monitors filling during production and completes paperwork. Documents any down time on the Production Line Down Time Report. Follow Pre-Start Up process – Check the Work Order to ensure correct bottles and caps are staged. Operates the Solbern Can Filler machine in “Manual” and “Automatic” operations for Lines 2 and 4. Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, setting guides, turning on line lube, conveyors, nitrogen application, or clearing away damaged packaging. Loads cans into machine. Monitors filling during production and completes paperwork. Follow Pre-Start Up process – Check the Work Order to ensure correct bottles and caps are staged. Operates the Bottle-US Bottler Filler and Sidel Cap Sorter machines in “Manual” and “Automatic” operations for Line 3. Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, setting guides, turning on line lube, hopper, rinser, conveyors, and sterilizer features, operating valve wash and steam tunnel, or clearing away damaged or excess packaging. Loads bottles and caps into machines. Monitors filling during production and completes paperwork. Operates Scantrac, Canalyzer, and Filtec Dud Detector machines in “Manual” and “Automatic” operations. Handles rejects and saves defective containers for Quality Assurance inspection, re-inspect suspected false rejects, or handle rejects per Supervisors instructions. Checks for correct height setting and adjust head height for fill level, as needed. Removes broken bottles following the specific work instruction or work aid for Glass Breakage from Rinser Discharge to Filler Infeed, Glass Breakage at Filler, Glass Breakage at Rinser, and Glass Breakage at the Capper work instructions. Position Summary : The Lift Truck Mechanic diagnoses failures, makes repairs and maintains all systems and parts associated with forklifts manufactured by Nissan, Toyota, Hyster and others.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times Responsible for repairs and required preventative maintenance on forklifts by analyzing, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems. Summary : The Quality Assurance Technician conducts quality assurance audits of beverage production assuring company and customer standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved. Consults with management to resolve quality, production, and efficiency problems. Summary : Responsible for routine segments of the quality assurance functions either directly or through QA Technicians.  Responsible for the training of techniques and procedures for inspecting and testing customers products and for the conducting of research on products defects in order to recommend modifications in products and/or quality standards on the basis of this research and of analysis of customer complaints. May also include responsibility for actual inspection and testing operations.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times Supervise the department for performing timely execution of product and packaging evaluations. Ensure that all the results of the inspections and analysis are accurate.  Interpret any trends that may jeopardize product quality and safety. Ensure that departmental, company, customer and regulatory guidelines are adhered to. Ensure that customer requirement for obtaining line analysis reports and line samples are met. Ensure that all products not meeting established specifications are held and segregated; sampled and appropriate documentation is generated. Communicate and coordinate with the manufacturing departments to ensure a concerted and proactive team effort is maintained. Supervise the training of QA Technicians and insure that proper skill sets are developed and documented. Assure that equipment and reagents are being calibrated and labeled. Perform weekly verification/calibration of scales, technician thermometers, refractometers, water baths, pH meters. Weekly air samples and bottle samples for microbiology. HFCS samples for microbiology. Observe and verify QA technicians and NCB blenders are performing analytical tests appropriately. Ensure the QA technicians and NCB blenders are trained annually on analytical tests. Ensure forms and work instructions are accurate, current, and controlled. Perform GMP inspections. Enforce safety, GMP and Food Safety standards. Monitor QA technicians PTO schedule and assure Production has QA coverage. If necessary, provide coverage and serve as backup to QA technicians. Attend the staff meetings if the QA Manager is unable to attend. Attend the monthly safety meetings. Work with customer reps with new products and/or packaging. Ensure qualification and commission runs are followed per the customer’s specifications. Oversee commission inspections. Generate summary reports. Highly motivated, energetic with strong interpersonal skills. Work with the HR Manager and the QA Manager on any QA HR related issues. Understand ISO22000/TS22002 standard.   Education and/or Experience :   Candidate must have a BS degree with some courses in food science, biology, microbiology, chemistry preferred or may be waived in lieu of experience in QA field and a minimum of 3 years in quality assurance/control function or supervisory experience An understanding of the beverage business, able to interpret data and draw conclusions based on statistical Must be knowledgeable in pasteurization/thermal process systems, HACCP programs and GMP policies. Mathematical skills, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, averages and ratios.
