About the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
For 50 years the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation has Honored Marines by Educating Their Children. As a 503(c) non-profit, the Scholarship Foundation provides needs-based scholarships for post-high school education to children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen who have served with Marines, with particular attention given to children whose parent has been killed or wounded in action, or who have demonstrated financial need. For the 2012-13 academic year, more than $6,000,000 was awarded to nearly 2,000 students. The Scholarship Foundation is funded by private supporters, including individuals, corporations, and other nonprofit foundations and is headquartered in Alexandria, VA.
