To be responsible under the supervision of the Community Manager and Asset Manager for overall maintenance of the property. Responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards and any applicable laws. Respond to resident requests for maintenance and cleanliness of the community by ensuring that the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, market ready units, interiors, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots, and other buildings and common arrears are free of debris, trash, graffiti, and other items which affect the appearance of the community
Ability to respond to questions or resolve resident, vendor, contractors, or work scheduling issues. Ability to work in conjunction with company managers and associates. Participate in projects, performing and directing repairs, inspection of units, carpentry work, drywall/painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
Desired Qualifications:
 Maintenance experience or any equivalent combination of education and/or mechanical maintenance experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Must be certified with the following:
·          HVAC/EPA certified or EPA certified  (Willing to train)
·          C.P.O certified   (Willing to train)
·         Valid Drivers License
Knowledge of:
 
·         Stock control and utilization of maintenance materials
·         Scheduling work order requests
·         Assisting property manager with annual apartment inspections
·         Refurbishing apartments
·         Ensuring grounds are maintained and clean
·         Knowledge of proper pool maintenance
·         Performing scheduled maintenance on all equipment
·         Water and gas meter cut-offs
·         Supervising 2 or more employees
·         General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
·         Ensure residents are provided with a clean, safe, well maintained community
