General Description The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring quality requirements are achieved for both delivered product and service provision. Duties Support the Company's internal quality goals and objectives.     Conduct inspections of both completed and on-going modifications and aircraft maintenance activities. Operate and maintain fuel lower explosive level (LEL) monitors, borescopes, weight/balance scales, micrometer, various gages, and other related equipment. General Description Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures. Duties Receive and enter verification data for inventory. Unpack and perform quality and quantity checks on manufacturer. Put away all inventory receipts. Replenishment and validation of all inventories. Perform cycle counts of product inventory. Properly label product locations. Make adjustments to inventory in database, if applicable, as requested. Must be flexible to accept work assignments in different areas as needed and required. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary functions do not require exercising independent judgment.  Other duties as assigned Education/Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in an inventory control or stockroom environment Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to leverage available resources to accomplish objectives. Perform SE maintenance processes per the maintenance support requirements. Enters documentation of maintenance in NALCOMIS (VIDSMAFs). Duties: • The AWSE shall have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in: a. General knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) requirements. b. NALCOMIS & VIDMAFs completion. • The AWSE shall have I Level SE Tire and Wheel certification with 2 years experience. • The AWSE shall have two (2) years automotive repair experience (exclusive of training) and completed a two (2) year formal resident automotive repair course of study at an accredited technical school, or have equivalent military experience and training (i.e., Minimum of two (2) years in the last eight (8) years automotive maintenance experience at an I level aviation support equipment repairs) to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements of this SOW. Examples of acceptable experience: Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician (AS) enlisted (E-4 through E-6). Graduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent. Education/Experience: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Must have a minimum of two (2) years automotive repair experience (exclusive of training) and completed a two (2) year formal resident automotive repair course. • Graduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent. • Must have a minimum of two (2) years in the last eight (8) years automotive maintenance experience at an I level aviation support equipment repairs. • Must be a US Citizen • Must have or be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Investigation. General Description Must be able to remove, repair, modify, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and install electrical systems, equipment, and accessories used in aircraft. Duties Make functional checks on electrical systems to ensure performance and reliability and correct malfunctions disclosed by static, ground, and flight tests Replace defective wiring and install new wiring for aircraft changes, modifications and repairs Perform work using overhaul and maintenance manuals, aircraft changes, bulletins, local directives, blueprints, and wiring and/or schematic diagrams Must be able to overhaul, repair, modify and test aircraft electrical system accessories such as motors, dynamotors, /inverters, voltage regulators, relays, cutouts, engine synchronizers, electric motor driven air compressors and activators, DC generators, AC alternators, and DC/AC electrical controls, cockpit air conditioning controls, engine temperature controls, and transistorized control equipment, etc Must be able to disassemble units to the extent necessary to repair and/or modify the various units mentioned above, replace all worn or defective parts, incorporate applicable modifications, make the necessary repairs, and make the unit ready for testing Must be able to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test complex electrical systems and devices on military aircraft to insure precise performance and reliability of all electrical systems Set up test positions using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, audio signal generators, frequency meters, voltmeters, watt meters and ammeters Must be able to work independently and test the various units for compliance with the proper tolerances prescribed for transient time, noise amplitude, and frequencies Adjust resonant circuits, compute alternative current loads Make all necessary adjustments to bring the units up to prescribed operational standards Other Duties as Assigned Education/Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent A&P license not required but a plus Must have at least two (2) years of documented experience in Aerospace and/or Aircraft Electrical procedures and processes. Prefer experience from military fixed wing and rotor community (F/A-18, P-3, T-44, H-60) or civilian heavy structure background Two (2) years relevant experience in military aviation or equivalent major MRO facility with journeyman-level ability to read, interpret and apply complex and detailed electrical schematics. Preferred Military installation Intermediate and/or DEPOT level maintenance experience Must be a US Citizen Must be able to pass a National Agency background check, which could include criminal history and a credit check for access to Government facilities.
