Job Description

 

As a Regional New Sales Account Representative (SAR) your time and efforts will be focused on proactively developing new customer accounts for AllRegs. You will be responsible for prospecting potential customers in the mortgage and financial services arena, adding new accounts to the AllRegs customer list, and making initial product sales to the new accounts. This position is a home office position and client contact and duties will be performed via telephone and online conferencing. Occasional travel is required.

As a New Sales Account Representative, you must display a positive attitude and a strong, self-motivated work ethic. You will need to hone your sales presentation to overcome customer resistance to a sales pitch, acceptance of an appointment and purchasing a product from a company that is not currently a business partner.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Sell AllRegs products and services based on an existing product menu and pricing structure
  • Consistently maintain a high volume of activities that yield sales results.
    • Activities include cold calls, e-mails, web-ex demos and other activities as identified and recorded in AllRegs Contact Management System
    • Expected activities include 50-75 outbound phone calls each day with follow up emails
  • Meet specific goals/quotas and target for new sales in new accounts with an average of 2-4 new accounts each week along with 5 phone based WebEx demonstrations
  • Represent our company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

 

Requirements of the Position

 

  • Education
    • Undergraduate degree is desired.
    • High School diploma will be considered
  • Previous Experience for the New Sales Account Representative include:
    • One year experience in a call center or business to business sales is preferred.
    • Previous book of business as a mortgage industry vendor is preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 year sales experience is required.
    • Mortgage Banking or Financial Services experience is highly desirable
  • Skills, knowledge, professional requirements such as licenses, etc.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft’s CRM or other contact management software.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft’s Outlook Office suite of programs.
    • Excellent written/oral communication skills and organizational skills are mandatory.
    • Must be multi-task oriented and able to manage a high volume call workload.
    • Strict attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
    • Must possess demonstrated ability to succeed without supervision.
    • Sense of urgency should be evident.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Lift your own luggage into an overhead bin on an airplane,
    • Carry a box of supplies at a trade show weighing < 50 Lbs.,
    • Work at a computer and use a phone for the bulk of the work day.
