Job Purpose
Deliver exceptional customer service with long term client relationships as the focus. The Sales Support/Customer Service Representive provides customers and prospects product and service information via email and the telephone, processes order requests, resolves product and service problems, provides sales administrative and marketing support.
Responsibilities
Maintains customers and attracts potential customers in a consultative approach by understanding needs, answering product and service questions; and suggests products and services via telephone and email. Supports senior management with marketing related applications including building presentations and sales materials, email promotions and company web site blog. Additional responsibilities include:
· Provides customers and prospects with product information.
· Processes customer orders.
· Maintains customer accounts and records by recording account information into ACT and QuickBooks.
· Maintains customer financial accounts by generating invoices and/or processes payment.
· Provides support in developing PowerPoint presentations and other marketing related materials.
· Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing customer information within ACT.
· Provide sales administrative and office support .
Required Experience/Skills
Customer Service, Sales Support or Account Management experience. Direct marketing experience a plus. Must have a positive attitude and be able to adapt to a changing entrepreneurial environment where the customer relationship is top priority and the business focus can change quickly. Must have relationship building skills and the ability to work in collaborative manner with clients and with vendor partners. Must be self- motivated to get the job done and explore ways to improve and have the willingness to learn and grow. Other skills required include the ability to: analyze and focus on details, problem solving, professional written and telephone communications, keen listening, resolve conflict, and multi-tasking.
Experience & Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. A minimum of 2 years experience providing customer service or sales support required. Skilled in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) required. ACT Sage/Software, QuickBooks and Adobe Creative Design Suite experience a plus.
