Our company was founded in 1983 by the late Knut Aarsand, with his son Kurt Aarsand, its president and daughter Krista Aarsand Bedford, vice president. Beginning with one KFC Restaurant in Havre de Grace, MD, Aarsand Management Company has grown to include a total of 60 restaurants located in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Today the company employs more than 1,400 full and part-time crew members. This impressive 27-year growth includes 42 Taco Bell locations, 8 KFC locations, 6 KFC / Taco Bell combination restaurants, and 4 Taco Bell / Pizza Hut combination restaurants with sales reaching over $60 million in 2009.
