Walker White, Inc. is a mechanical construction firm located in Columbia, SC.  We specialize in the construction, modification and maintenance of heavy commercial and industrial HVAC, duct, plumbing and piping systems.

Overview of Responsibilities:

§  HVAC plan/specification and design/build project estimation

Qualifications:

§  Ability to evaluate and understand project plans, specifications and bid documentation

§  Working knowledge of hydronic piping systems, heat exchangers, and air duct designs

§  Experience with load calculations, specifying chillers, make-up outside air units, boilers, RTU’s, and hydronic pumps and accessories

§  Above-average knowledge of ASHRAE standards and LEEDS design experience

§  Bachelor’s degree in engineering. mechanical engineering degree preferred

§  Minimum of five (5) years related working experience

§  Effective leadership and problem solving skills

§  Effective written and verbal communication skills

§  Ability to work effectively in a team environment
