 STARS Rape Crisis Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in El Paso, Texas. 

STARS Rape Crisis Center is dedicated to serving El Paso County’s community members. 

· In collaboration with the Center Against Family Violence of El Paso the 24/7 confidential Crisis Hope Line (915-593-7300) is available for victims of sexual assault seeking assistance.

· 24/7 crisis intervention is available for survivors of sexual assault of all ages, their family members, and significant others in a hospital setting. 

· School outreach services are available upon request that includes short-term peer support and advocacy services to sexual assault survivors attending high school.  This service is coordinated with a designated confidential contact at the school and is provided in a confidential and private setting.

· Home outreach services are available upon request to provide short term peer support and advocacy services to survivors of sexual assault with limited means of transportation. 

· Criminal justice accompaniment for survivors and their families is offered throughout the legal process which includes assistance with preparation for court testimony.

· Information regarding the availability of Crime Victims’ Compensation benefits and assistance with the application process is provided, along with assistance in identifying and addressing other needs of survivors, linking them with community service agencies that are able to assist them.

· Free public education presentations are available upon request:

· Community education presentations are offered to El Paso County area schools from grades K-12, which includes a new anti-bullying program for elementary students. 

· Community education presentations are provided to university students on sexual violence related issues. 

· Professional training is provided upon request to area law enforcement agencies, military personnel, and El Paso County area community service agencies.

All services are confidential and free of charge to survivors of sexual assault, their family members, and significant others.
