At La Quinta, we are looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join our marketing team to develop our military targeted marketing, communications and philanthropic initiatives. We are looking for that person who brings the skill set of communications strategy along with curiosity, creativity and a collaborative mindset. Qualified candidates must have a previous military background.

Our ideal candidate will have had 3-5 years of experience in a professional marketing or advertising capacity, whether your past included working for:
- a branch of the military in marketing, advertising or media relations
-an ad agency in either account management or strategic planning
-a brand marketing position client-side
Of course, you’re great at problem solving. You possess the ability to oversee a spectrum of brand management functions to support B to C initiatives. As You will participate in strategic planning under the direction of the VP of Brand Marketing.
Another exciting opportunity is helping us refine our positioning and develop local programs for new international markets in Mexico and LatAm. The ability to execute national marketing campaigns and messages at property touchpoints is essential. As Brand Manager, you will also act as a consultant to other groups within La Quinta, including our Franchise marketing and Global Sales teams. Visibility to the C-Suite is also part of the role.
Essential Job Functions
As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will have the skills to gather and organize information to plan communications strategies. Your past experiences will have included overseeing digital and print production. The ability to assess target market opportunities, develop consumer insights and implement a communication plan is a necessary skill.
Participating in ongoing marketing support processes such as updating property photos for LQ.com and the preparation and distribution of marketing material to new international hotels will also be a part of your job. The Brand Marketing Manager will also be asked to oversee or assist with other ad hoc marketing projects as needed, such as research initiatives, competitive reviews, photo shoots, national promotions and point-of-sale as well as tasks that include invoicing and budget management.
Some travel requiring overnight stays is a requirement of the job.
