We are currently seeking a ServiceTech/Mechanic at our FS Solutions Service Location at Long Beach, CA.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Service Technician / Mechanic will possess the technical ability to Service and / or Repair Vacuum Trucks, as well as the ability to evaluate and refurbish various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems that are used on industrial equipment.
Qualified candidate must have mechanical knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, chassis systems and water pumps on industrial vacuum trucks and related equipment. This includes the ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, chassis and water systems common to the vacuum truck and sewer cleaning truck industry. Individual must be able to weld and fabricate metal (mig, stick, plasma, torch cutting). Must have the ability to read, comprehend and follow technical instructions. A CDL is a plus. Must be willing to travel to customer locations and perform repairs in the field, if needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education and/or Experience):
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. College, technical or vocational school preferred.
• 3 years related experience as an Industrial Mechanic, preferred.
