PSG Controls, Inc
PSG Controls, Inc., (Philadelphia Scientific Glass Co.) was founded in 1962,
in Perkasie, PA., specializing in the manufacture of liquid-in-glass thermometers,
laboratory thermo-regulators, mercury displacement relays, and other temperature
indicating products. Designed and released by PSG in 1978, the ACCUSTAT® line of
temperature controls set a new standard for thermostat design. With pre-set operational
limits and a locking cover, the ACCUSTAT® remains a proven standard for commercial
temperature control applications. In 1988, PSG advanced into the field of digital non-
programmable and programmable thermostats, highlighted by its E-ACCUSTAT® line,
an electronic version of the original ACCUSTAT®.
Today, PSG Controls, Inc. utilizes its more than 30,000 square foot production
area to manufacture a complete line of commercial and residential thermostats, fan coil
and PTAC heat/cool and heat pump controls in line and low voltages for its HVACR
distribution, OEM, hospitality, and government customers. PSG’s HOTELSTAT® is just
one example of the innovative design capabilities of its engineering department, which
has over 75 years experience in incorporating performance, reliability, and durability
excellence into every PSG control, which is designed to meet the exacting needs of its
customers. Many PSG products are specified by OEM customers and the U.S.
Department of Defense. PSG sales are divided among four major market segments including Distribution, OEM, Government and Hospitality.
