Job Description

JOB TITLE:        Residential Driver

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

Maintain and update Pre-trip and post trip logs

Provide residential trash service to customers by emptying trash containers

Operate a CDL Residential truck in a safe manner

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

Good written and verbal communication skills

General knowledge of mechanics of trucks

Must be able to lift up to 75lbs from the ground approximately 300- 500 times a day

Knowledge of Tri-state area

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a valid Class B CDL License

Must have a valid Physical Examination Card

Must not have no DUI’s, suspensions, or wreckless operations within the past 2 years

Must have no more than 6 points on license

Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen

Must be at least 21 years of age

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Must have the ability to lift repetitively,  carry, reach,  push, pull, bend, squat, climb, sit, and stand

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Reports to Route Supervisor(s)

WORK CONDITIONS:

Exposure to all seasonal weather conditions
