Initially operating in Sydney, Australia, PIRTEK provided custom hose assemblies and fittings products and services primarily to customers in the earthmoving, construction, materials handling and manufacturing industries.
By 1985, the founders blended the expanding but loose-knit distributor network operating within the PIRTEK guidelines into a unified, dynamic force - the PIRTEK Franchise System.
