Maurie Cashman is the owner of Aspen Grove Investments after spending 25 years with companies including Tyson Foods and Land O’Lakes.  Aspen Grove Investments provides services to sellers, buyers and owners of private businesses and holds a franchise with Sunbelt Business Advisors.  Maurie has led many strategic initiatives related to the establishment, growth and development of multiple businesses throughout the US.  He has a strong track record in acquisitions and divestitures, negotiating, financial management, strategic planning and legal and regulatory relations.  Having worked with individual business owners as well as corporate acquisitions and divestitures Maurie understands the special considerations of corporations, individuals and families when considering buying or selling a business.  Having grown a startup business to a top ten national business and then leading the successful merger of that business into another company, Maurie understands the value of confidentiality, respect for employees and customers, and the value of a well-planned process for a sale or acquisition. 


Maurie has degrees in Accounting and Economics from Iowa State University and an MBA from Winona State University.  He is a Certified Business Intermediary, a Certified Exit Planner and a realtor.
