Chicago Sales Representative


Mac Retail Solutions, a leading national reseller and implementer of Macintosh based point of sale solutions for retail and small businesses seeks an entry-level sales representative based in northern Illinois.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

   •    Take an active role in managing & growing a dedicated sales territory that includes a large lead pool.
   •    Sell solution based services to individual and chain retail stores and other applicable small businesses
   •    Prospect & develop new partnerships, sales channels, and local referral relationships.
   •    Collaborate with customers to provide exceptional customer service & professionalism throughout the sales experience
   •    Maintain records, customer database and contacts for assigned territory
   •    Maintenance of sales quota
   •    Cold calling and prospecting through physical and electronic means.
   •    Attendance at regional and national trade shows is required as determined by sales management.  


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

   •    High integrity
   •    Ability to identify, qualify & close prospects
   •    Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), problem-solving & presentation skills a MUST
   •    High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Recent college graduates and military personal encouraged.
   •    Knowledge and familiarity with Chicago neighborhoods preferred.
   •    Computer proficiency, internet savvy.
   •    Experience with electronic order entry systems and Customer Relationship Management systems is desired.
   •    Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
   •    This position requires working out of a home office and the ability to travel to all areas in Northeast IL, Chicago, and all surrounding suburbs.
