Plate Welder - Petroleum Storage Tanks

Tanco Engineering has provided the petroleum industry with safe, reliable and high quality tank construction and renovation services since 1979. We are seeking welders in a number of regions but, at this time, we are primarily  looking to fill positions for a project at the ExxonMobil Joliet Illinois refinery. (Interest in other areas please apply). Our first choice would be to fill these positions from the Chicagoland area but the right candidate, willing to travel from outside the area would be considered.

These candidates would be responsible for welding in all positions for new tank construction,  tank shell repairs, fixed roof repairs and floating roof repairs. Qualified and  experienced applicants capable of performing x-ray quality work, will be of immediate consideration.  Pay will range from $17-25 per hour and will be based on experience.
