Location: 9960 Alliance Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242

Shift/Hours: Nights, 10:45pm - 6:45am. Will work 6 days a week with 1 day off a week. The day off could be the same day each week.

Pay: $29.79-$37.23/ hr

The Opportunity:

Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.
  • Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Will work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives.
  • Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete Timely and accurate paperwork .

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong Electrical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment.
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
  • Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.
  • Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits.
  • Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
  • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred.
  • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
  • Ability to work weekends & overtime.
  • Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred.
  • Corrugated background is a plus, but not required
