About Premium Peanut, LLC

Premium Peanut, LLC is a farmer-owned peanut shelling and oil production company headquartered in Douglas, Georgia. Founded with a mission to deliver high-quality, sustainably sourced peanuts, Premium Peanut has grown to become the largest single-site peanut shelling facility in the world, processing approximately 10% of the nation’s peanut crop.

Our vertically integrated operations ensure quality from farm to final product, with a strong commitment to innovation, food safety, and environmental stewardship. In addition to our state-of-the-art shelling facility, we operate a premium peanut oil mill, producing high-quality refined peanut oil for domestic and international markets.

As part of our continued growth, we are currently expanding with the construction of a new shelling plant in Santee, South Carolina, further strengthening our capacity and commitment to serving growers, customers, and communities across the Southeast.
