Key accountabilities of the role include:

  1. Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free workplace.
  • Be a champion to support efforts for working safely and building a culture of care and concern for our customer, their property and your co-workers.
  • Consistently communicate and reinforce quality work.
  • Comply with all company safety requirements and policies.
  1. Carpet and upholstery cleaning and maintence
  2. Water damage restoration extraction, demo and drying of the structure
  3. Asist with vehicle and equipment care, set up and take down
  4. Operate basic hand and power tools (we supply all that is needed)
  5. Lift and carry objects and furniture as needed
  6. Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work site on a daily basis.
  7. Erect and dismantle containment barriers and content protection.
  8. Assist Carpenters, Operators, Masons, and other skilled labor as needed.
  9. Inspect work-in-progress to ensure that it conforms to the specifications, schedules, and quality standards as outlined in job site protocols.
  10. Assure that workmanship is of the highest quality.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications:

  1. History of experience and proven results including:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. General Construction knowledge is preferred.
    3. IICRC or industry experience will increase starting pay.
  2. Ability to properly lift, carry, push, rake, shovel, and move materials, supplies, tools, and ladders weighing up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis and occasionally more than 100 pounds throughout the day.
  3. Physical agility to stand, walk, climb ladders and\/or formwork, kneel, crouch down, twist, and reach on a constant basis throughout the day.
  4. Experience using hand tools.
  5. Willingness to work in various hours as needed, respond to after hours calls when requested.
  6. Demonstrated ability to proactively resolve construction issues.
  7. Strong communication skills (oral, written, and listening) including ability to follow directions and ask questions.
  8. Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
  9. Ability to be self-motivated, set own goals and tasks, and contribute to a positive team environment.
