Seeking military veterans for the Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM), a 12-week paid training and career placement program created through the partnership of Rockwell Automation and ManpowerGroup.  As manufacturing becomes increasingly automated, there is no one better suited to serve in the industry than our military veterans. Having learned automation technologies as well as electro-mechanical skills while in the service, they are well-equipped to make the transition to these civilian roles. Graduates will be offered career opportunities in advanced manufacturing roles with respected US manufacturers.

Basic Requirements:
•    Military veteran or transitioning service member (open to all branches; no time limit or cap on when veterans can join).
•    Must be able to attend the 12-week training in Wisconsin
•    Graduates must be willing/able to relocate anywhere in the continental US upon job offer.
•    Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications and general computing skills.
•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    18+ years of age & authorized to work in the United States.
•    Must be willing to complete pre-employment background check and drug screen.

The Training Program:
•    12-week on-site program at Rockwell Automation's World Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI
•    No-cost (no GI Bill required!), PAID training.
•    Housing, food, and transportation provided during training.
•    Hands-on labs and classroom-based instruction; all tools and learning materials provided.
•    Training focuses on advanced manufacturing practices; specifically, skills required for instrumentation, automation, & controls technicians.
•    Curriculum includes network infrastructure, drives, motors, Ladder Logic, industrial controller products and applications, visualization, and safety technology. 
•    Professional soft-skill sessions focus on teamwork, leadership, and project management.
