Shipyard Laborer (FT)

Will be performing general laborer work to support marine/shipyard.

The Shipyard Laborer provides a variety of services in the ship docking, hauling, painting and repair industry, including cleaning the yard, materials delivery, setting up for specified work on a vessel, pressure washing vessel surfaces, assisting in docking, hauling and launching vessels. The Shipyard Laborer will also performs general physical labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Performs a variety of duties related to boats. Your main responsibilities revolve around helping the shipyard run smoothly, loading equipment or a vehicle like a forklift to move cargo from trucks, assist with construction projects. Experience with hand tools is a plus for this position, as you may be responsible for completing a wide range of tasks.

Shipyard general maintenance.

May be asked to use mechanical tools.

May work in confined spaces.
