Deputy Commandant (Male)

This position is the Assistant to the Commandant of Cadets.  The individual in this position will be in charge of barracks life and Male Dorm Supervisors.  Responsibilities include:

• Enforcing the rules outlined int he cadet handbook and ensuring all cadets are held to fair and equitable standard within the approved guidelines.
• Must conduct room inspections once a week and mnonitor the barracks on assigned evenings and weekends.
• The Deputy Commandant will approve the Dorm Supervisor's work schedule.
• This individual will work closely with the Commandant and the Executive Officer/Administrative assistant in monitoring cadet behavior and provide a safe environment for all cadets during cadet life hours.
• Mentor to male cadets.
• This position will also require some teaching and coaching; experience with both is a plus.

Prior military experience preferred.  Prior law enforcement would also be a plus.
