K9 Off Leash

K9 Off Leash is an elite dog training facility located in Miami, Florida. Truly one of a kind; there is no other company that can compare to us. One of our goals for 2022 is to give back to the patriots who have served our country as we are extremely grateful. We are going to begin holding philanthropic events to fund the training of service dogs to donate to veterans with PTSD. Furthermore we also are looking to convert our staff to exclusively veterans and military spouses.

When it comes to working at K9 Off Leash our company values and expectations we believe adhere to the same basic principles of veterans: Commitment, integrity, accountability, loyalty, and service before self. Veterans understand the importance of these principles in building a strong team. They also bring an intrinsic understanding of how loyalty adds to team proficiency and builds trust in a work environment. This kind of work ethic is exactly what we practice at K9 Off Leash.

We have multiple positions to fill and they are all very straightforward. Even if you do not have any experience with dogs, as long as you are a dog lover, you will succeed and grow with our company. We also have the capability to offer housing to veterans in need of a place to live and are determined to work. Some of the positions we are looking to fill include: kennel workers, dog trainers, dog walkers, cleaning personal, and office staff.

Kennel workers are primarily responsible for taking care of the dogs and maintaining the facility. Their main task is to take the dogs outside from their kennel to the play area to use the bathroom then let them run around and take pictures/videos of the dogs. Kennel workers also clean outside areas including but not limited to the play area by spraying the turf down with wishy-wash as the play area must be cleaned at all times for the health, safety and sanitation of all dogs. Kennel workers will bathe dogs or administer meds to them when needed, wipe down the dogs faces every time they are taken out and always check each dog for injuries or behavior abnormalities prior to leaving them in the kennels then report any issues with a dog to the office immediately. As a kennel worker you are essentially paid to play with dogs and spend one on one time with each dog. It is an extremely therapeutic position.

Cleaning worker's main responsibility is to ensure the facility is always clean and organized. They work together, as a team, with the kennel worker on shift as when a kennel worker takes a dog outside the cleaning personnel wipes down the interior of that dog’s kennel. Cleaning personnel also feed the dogs and record each feeding on a kennel log sheet. They advise the office when a dog is low on food and when a dog isn’t eating then fill up the water jugs at the end of their day. In addition, cleaning personnel are responsible for washing, drying, folding and putting away dog towels/beds as well as throwing away garbage and cleaning the facility.

Office personnel are responsible for answering phone calls, managing the calendar, and confirming client appointments. They also work with Quickbooks and Klarna to do refunds, charge clients, and financing. They also work directly with our clients by setting up client information and appointments for clients as well as listening to their requests and concerns. Office personnel also conduct payroll, respond to emails, book vet visits, create the employee schedule, manage bills and payments, file paperwork, order supply, and handle website changes.

We offer health insurance to all of our employees after 90 days of employment. Also, after 90 days, we begin to evaluate eligibility for a raise. We take very great care of our people and are generous to those who are committed, hard working and have our back.
