In 2015, as AkitaBox’s four founders worked in a large Midwest construction organization, they consistently heard from customers and operations leaders that a disconnect in technology occurred as facilities that were built utilizing the latest in 3D CAD construction were then handed over with a mountain of paper blueprints and manuals. 

With the founders’ strength in collecting data, they realized it was possible to take the level of technology and sophistication they used in construction and apply it to operate facilities more efficiently by presenting locational data in a way that makes it easy to utilize. This vision continues today with the evolution of the AkitaBox platform and associated applications to better enable the telling of a building’s history, current condition and projected future. In turn, this allows superior, data-driven decision making, from the boiler-room to boardroom.

AkitaBox was founded in Madison, WI and has raised its capital entirely from the middle of the country.  We were recently included in the Inc. Magazine 5000 list as No. 578, and ranked 9th in the State of WI.

As an Account Executive, you’ll grow new revenue through execution of a strong territory plan. You will be a trusted advisor to your prospects, and a team player to your internal team. You’ll become an AkitaBox product expert capable of presenting the value of our software and managing the entire sales process from finding a new customer or working a passed lead, to securing the deal and managing the transition to post-sales. You’ll execute engaging technical software and service demonstrations to prospective customers using an enterprise sales approach. You will demonstrate value to key stakeholders within the accounts during both fast moving and complex sales cycles as well as exceed monthly activity metrics, pipeline growth, and revenue goals. You’ll execute a territory specific strategic plan and maintain a reliable forecast while maintaining a pipeline sufficient to exceed your goals..
