Originally founded in 1963 by Norm Reeves, his name became synonymous with reputable and reliable customer service. In 1983, David Conant earned a trial position as a salesman at Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos. It didn’t take him long to find success. In just 17 days of work, he sold more cars than all but one employee. By 1987, Conant was general sales manager of a store with increased sales of about 400 new cars a month.

Dave Conant eventually became general manager and a chance for partial ownership in the dealership. In 1995, he purchased 100% ownership in the company. Under this new ownership, the founding philosophy was established.
