Phoenix Corporation is looking for a Mechanical Technician / Millwright.  Come join our fast-growing and energetic company. The Maintenance Technician is an important team member who is responsible in servicing and maintaining industrial food equipment for our key clients across the US.

Job Type: Part Time work making a full-time salary

We offer very competitive pay based on experience and capabilities.  Must be willing to travel.

Key Functional Responsibilities and Skills

• Ability to work with hand tools
• Assists in a variety of tasks such as repairing, installing, maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment
• Trouble-shoot and detect technical snags, defects and malfunctions in the equipment and resolve
• Completes all tasks as assigned by the Lead Mechanic within the specified time limit
• Experience with reading blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Experience with TIG, MIG, and ARC welding preferred
• Capable of lifting 75lbs
• Able to work in confined spaces and in varying temperatures and physical fit to be able to climb 30-40ft industrial equipment in food plants
• Capable of working independently, as well as with a team
• Bring a positive attitude and be a dependable worker who can meet timelines
• Provide excellent and professional communication at all times with Lead Mechanic, Management, Customers, and Co-workers
• Must have a smartphone or device to be able to text and update timesheets
