Part Time Evening MRI Tech
Slocum is currently recruiting a part-time, 24 hours per week, evening shift MRI Tech. The position hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm to 8:30pm. This position also covers some day shifts during vacations and an occasional Friday. Certified Medical Assistant
At Slocum Orthopedics the Medical Assistant is a liaison between the patient, the physician and other medical support staff. This position works in the clinical area as an orthopedic Medical Assistant.  Must be organized, team centered, and skilled at multi-tasking. Must have proactive communication skills when delivering medical information to patients. Works closely with the physicians and other team members. Responsible for efficient patient flow and organization of work area.  Assists with all medical procedures.  The responsibilities include following the patient from the time of arrival for an appointment through departure from the office, making sure all the patients’ and doctor’s needs are met to provide the best physician/patient experience as possible.  Helps provide patient education.   Slocum is an EEO/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability employer.
