R.C. Merchant & Co.  is a Manufactures Representative serving both the Electronic and Electrical markets.  We have been representing leading-edge products in our primary role as a sales and marketing organization since 1924. 

We are looking for an electrical technical inside sales person, with the desire to move into outside sales within 1-2 years.  The ideal candidate has the ability to build strong relationships, has a strong technical amplitude, and is self-motivated.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide quotes for represented products based on specs or drawings provided by the customer or distributor
• Assist senior sales representatives on key projects
• Prospect and develop new customers who are a good fit for our line card
• Specification response

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of sales experience in the Electrical Industry or related field
• Ability to travel on a quarterly basis
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, other MS tools, and Adobe.
• Ability to read drawings
