Hawaiian Earth Recycling

Established in 1993, Hawaiian Earth Recycling is an integral partner in providing an alternative to sending greenwaste to the landfill. It is also the largest greenwaste recycling company in Hawaii. We recycle over 140,000 tons annually, turning them into soil amendments, blends, mulching materials, and erosion control products for use throughout Hawaii. Hawaiian Earth Recycling works closely with the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Environmental Services to provide a location for residents to deposit their household greenwaste. Since inception, we have diverted over 1,529,897 tons of greenwaste, foodwaste, and wood from the landfills and recycled them into nutrient rich compost that is then reintroduced back into the aina for the community to use at home, work or school.
