Founded in 1985, Steel Encounters is nestled in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah in close proximity to shopping, public transportation, and dining. Steel Encounters staffs an average of 300+ employees across Utah, Oregon, Washington, and Arkansas. A financially stable, award winning, highly respected specialty subcontractor.  We are an ESOP company (employee owned company), employees receive dividends on profits that go directly towards retirement. Each employee owner takes pride in their work and is an important contributor to our overall success.
