Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, are seeking a Chair, Department of Surgery, due to the upcoming retirement of our current Chair. The Chair will oversee all activities related to the staff, surgeons, and the operating room including surgical outcomes. The Chair will also be responsible for leading all teaching and research activities within the Department, including medical students and graduate medical educational programs. The Chair will be charged with creating and implementing a strategic vision for the Department
Interested physician candidates should have a track record of personal academic accomplishments, demonstrated successful administrative and leadership experience at an academic institution as the Department Chair, Division Chief or Section Head, and possess credentials to include:
