Sr. SQL Database Developer We are looking for a senior level SQL Database Developer responsible for providing database and application solution strategy, technical design, architecture, and support carrying out the implementation of enterprise application development and data integration deliverables. This job will work in conjunction with the Database Administrator to ensure the performance, stability, and security of the database system. THE WORK YOU’LL DO » Responsible for designing, coding, and implementing database solutions using modern techniques and programming languages, including table design, stored procedures, and overall best practice methodologies. Work harmoniously in a cross-functional team comprised of managers, supervisors, business analysts, systems personnel, network staff, and other developers to ensure the delivery of software solutions as planned . Design database schema based on data modeling of business requirements and entities. Design and develop data integration using SSIS and Stored Procedures Create, modify, read and understand stored procedures. Create, modify and troubleshoot SQL jobs. Develop, optimize and execute complex SQL queries from diverse data sets. Perform code reviews, analyzing execution plans, and refactoring inefficient code Diagnose, triage and correct, MS SQL Server deficiencies, including, but not limited to, performance, misconfigurations, and incorrect data structures Collect and review database performance metrics and proactively address performance concerns Work closely with systems and development teams and provide technical expertise where needed REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related field is preferred 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Solutions (SQL Server Management Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SSIS) 5+ years of advanced stored procedures development Experience in conceptual data modeling Experience with JSON, XML, REST APIs Experience in ASP.NET is a plus Experience with Azure, Power BI, machine learning is a plus Job-Type:  Full-Time Salary:  Above Market + Benefits + Bonus Local candidates only; work sponsorship and relocation assistance are not offered. SRS is currently seeking a Systems/Applications Support Specialist who has ERP and application experience to support corporate-wide operations.  This role provides training and support for our ERP and Routing/POD Solution, as well as, internal and customer-facing applications. Have the opportunity to work on leading-edge technology, resolve complex problems and form great business relationships with all levels of management. Daily functions for this position include application management, support, training and documentation of policy and procedures. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of how transactions flow through a fully-integrated system.  Knowledge of routing and proof of delivery systems is a plus. Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day administration of ERP system on the phone, in-person and through webinars. Troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues with ERP system and integration elements as they arise. Support and train on any product or software that interfaces with the ERP (such as tax interface, quoting software, billing interface, routing software, etc.); engage all parties with troubleshooting when needed. Configure and maintain workflows Monitor document imaging software Define problems, analyze symptoms, identify root cause and document resolution. Ensure a positive relationship and communication plan with the customer/users Provide application support and training on the Microsoft suite of products. Travel – Could be up to 25% (weekend travel may be required). It might be a few days or up to a week for training multiple branches in an area. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 3 or more years’ experience supporting a fully integrated software solution required (ERP) (such as Agility, Epicor, Profit21, Trend, Infor, Catlyst, Falcon, Epicor, Bistrack, etc) Experience working with interfaces and workflows that integrate with an ERP. Experience working in a multi-unit or distribution environment is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills for trainings, emails, instructions, presentations, etc. Strong interpersonal for interacting with team members and customers.
