Sales opportunity to sell roofing and building products as an outside sales person. We provide teamwork, support and autonomy to our sales team. You can develop your territory, build lasting business relationships and earn a base pay with uncapped commissions and more. In our industry, we sell to repeat customers (mostly contractors and builders), which will allow you to use your relationship selling skills to build a large pipeline of business, leading to your steady and increasing income potential. The Territory Manager’s primary role is to call upon new and existing customers and develop new business opportunities in the local roofing, general contractor and home builder markets. The sales person will coordinate closely with our inside sales support team and our vendors to plan and execute the promotion of products and services to our customers. The development and execution of a detailed annual sales plan will also be a critical requirement for this position. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Your primary duty as a Driver Trainee, which we call a Logistics Specialist I, is to deliver materials to a customer’s place of business or to a job site. The primary vehicle used to accomplish this duty is a 24-foot flatbed straight truck with a gross weight exceeding 26,001 lbs. A hydraulic boom or articulating crane is attached to a truck to accomplish the delivery. You will operate within a maximum of a 200-mile radius of your home branch, with deliveries originating and ending at the branch (no deliveries result in an overnight stay). You may have to load and unload trucks using a forklift, Moffett and/or other mechanical equipment. You will be safe. Drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations. You will act as a leader for job site safety. You will repetitively lift building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. on a continuous basis. Capture pictures of all building products delivered Education and/or Experience We prefer high school graduate or GED with meaningful work experience.
