JOB BRIEF

We are looking for Technical Operations Specialists to join our world class team. You will work with minimal direction to ensure the highest quality of customer support. We need you to provide local or remote training, in-the-field product operational expertise, multi-disciplined technical diagnostic capabilities and have a clear understanding of customer requirements and objectives. You will be our experts for system training, conducting equipment demonstrations and installation integration with ground, maritime and airborne platforms as well as conducting diagnosis and field repair. In return you will have the ability to continue training on cutting edge technology to include advanced cellular protocols, satellite communications and Wi-Fi developments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct local and/or remote system training on SRT products
  • Maintain & Update training curricula as new product capabilities are developed.
  • Undertake all customer support tasks at facilities and field locations both within and outside of the United States.
  • Efficiently plan and conduct thorough documentation of all on/off-site activities.
  • Ensure that the work progress accurately follows the planned agenda.
  • Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues.
  • Conduct environmental characterization to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
  • Partner with colleagues and communicate important information.
  • Assess customer needs, provide consultation and offer recommendations.
  • Establish rapport and build trusting relations with our customers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret (minimum) security clearance or Top Secret (desired). Existing clearances are highly preferred.
  • Must have ability to attain an FAA 3rd Class Medical Certification
  • Hands-on experience with Cellular, satellite communications and Wi-Fi diagnostic and test equipment.
  • Experience as a field technician
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in electronics and computer (H/W and S/W) diagnostics, mobile tools and applications.
  • Ability to productively react to unforeseen or uncontrolled circumstances.
  • Ability to work variable, non-standard shift hours in high pressure environments.
  • Ability to conduct physical activities outdoors in sometimes strenuous (hot/humid) environments.
  • Technical degree or certification preferred
  • Prior Military (SI/EW) experience highly preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time both nationally and internationally to include regions engaged in armed conflict.
