PickPoint, located in Fremont, CA, is currently seeking an experienced Installation Tech to join its Pharmacy Technology Solutions organization. The Installation Tech is responsible for building, installing, servicing, moving, and expanding company products at customer locations, as well as training customers on the products’ use. Other responsibilities include on-call assignments, repair and service computer hardware and software.
Experience:
- Experience in basic computer administration, troubleshooting, and giving instruction/teaching/training.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair customer hardware and software
- Excellent networking and computer skills
- Must be able to travel frequently with overnight stays
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic hardware, software, and network troubleshooting necessary.
- Basic computer administration- install software, set clock, change BIOS setting, check and change network, check device manager, basic command line commands, etc.
- Basic proficiency with hand tools, and basic power tools necessary.
- Be able to work in crowded and/or tight workspaces.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more throughout the day
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and crawl during installations
- Execute instructions in an efficient manner.
