MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I
The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston is currently accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Technician I for Eastside Management Offices.
This position is responsible for general apartment maintenance which focuses on non-technical tasks such as clogged toilets, installation of towels bars, routine and preventive maintenance on interior and exterior of buildings, preparing units for occupancy, painting units, etc.
Minimum qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent supplemented by 1-2 years experience in semiskilled and unskilled tasks such as carpentry, electricity, heating, and plumbing, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid driver's license.

The starting salary for this position is $12.21 per hour
